Your files

Every tool on FilesLocal runs inside your web browser. The files you choose are read and processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else. Closing the tab discards them.

The background remover downloads an AI model file (about 4.5 MB or 25 MB, depending on the mode) from this website the first time you use it, and your browser keeps a copy so it does not need to download it again. The model runs on your device; your photos are never sent with that download or afterwards.
