Add a Watermark to Images

Protect your photos or brand them before you post them. Add your images, type your text or choose a logo, set how it looks, and apply it to every image at once. The images never leave your device.

Step 1: Add your images

Loading the tool…One moment — files never leave your device

Step 2: Design the watermark

Watermark type
Position

A preview of your first image appears here.

The size and position are relative to each image, so every image in step 1 gets a watermark that looks the same.

Step 3: Add watermark

Add images in step 1 first.

Step 4: Download your new files

Your new files will appear here after you press “Add watermark”.

How to use it

  1. Add one or more images (JPG, PNG or WebP).
  2. Choose a text watermark and type your text, or choose a logo image.
  3. Set the size, opacity and position — one of nine spots or repeated across the whole image. The preview shows your first image.
  4. Press Add watermark and download each image, or all of them as a ZIP.

Questions

Will the watermark look the same on different-sized photos?
Yes. The size and position are measured relative to each image's shorter side, so large and small photos get a matching watermark.
Can I use my logo instead of text?
Yes. Choose Logo image and pick your logo file. A PNG with a transparent background works best.
How do I make the watermark harder to remove?
Choose Repeat across the whole image. The text or logo is repeated diagonally over the picture, which makes it much harder to crop out than a single corner mark.
Will my text be readable on light and dark photos?
Turn on the soft shadow option. A dark shadow is used behind light text and a light shadow behind dark text, so it stays readable on most backgrounds.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The watermark is added in your browser and your photos are never uploaded.
