Questions

Which effect is safest for hiding text?
Use Solid black box for passwords, ID numbers or other sensitive text. Blurred or pixelated text can sometimes be partly recovered, while a solid box removes it completely.
Can I hide several things in one picture?
Yes. Press Add another area for each extra box. Click a box to select it, and use Remove the selected area if you no longer need it.
Can I blur the whole image?
Yes. Choose The whole image under Where, and the effect is applied to the entire picture.
Does the rest of the image lose quality?
Only the marked areas change, and the image keeps its size in pixels. PNG stays lossless. JPG and WebP are saved again at the quality you choose, which is 100% by default.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The effect is applied in your browser and the image is never uploaded to a server.
